We're looking for responsible, consistent and hard-working applicants who are invested in the progress of our students.
Ideally we are looking for candidates for a consistent schedule of a minimum of 3 shifts per week.
Schedule availability should include:
at least one (1) weekday morning or afternoon
at least one (1) weekend day

Job Title: Swim Instructor (Swim Teacher) and/or Lifeguard
Summary: Instructs students on water safety and proper swim techniques based on a thorough
knowledge of the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.

Requirements
- Ability to work with children of all ages and ability levels
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
- Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents.
- Lifeguard responsibilities and administers first aid when necessary
- Evaluates students’ progress, and completes required paperwork
- Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills
- Attends required/mandatory workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours
- Fulfills other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Employer
Education/Experience: 16+. Experience in child care, as a camp counselor, coach or mentor is a plus. A passion for kids, fitness, and the sport of swimming is important!
Certifications: Not required. However we offer Lifeguard Classes for those candidates looking to lifeguard and wish to obtain/maintain current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications.
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
